Seize Your Opportunity in China’s 13th Five-year Plan

The Five-year Plan is CPC's comprehensive planning of Chinese economy, politics and society with Chinese socialist characteristics. Its 13th Five-year Plan, which was recently issued in October 29th, is the guidelines of the development of China during 2016-2020, which can be a new engine and motivation for the world economy after the global recession and financial tsunami. Poseidon China, with its profound knowledge and broad experiences in China market, will make a keen observation and practical analysis for our Italian customers and help them navigate China market in the coming crucial 5 years.

Economic transformation will be highlighted. 

According to CPC’s Hundred-year Plan brought up by Deng Xiaoping in 1980s, a well-off society in an all-round way should be established in all over China by 2020. In this well-off society, China’s GDP in 2020 should be as much as four time of its GDP in 2000, with a higher proportion in urbanization, better political and more effective market economy, all of which will be harmonized in a sustainable development and human-friendly environment.

China's economic miracle has accomplished the task of building a well-off society on GDP level in 2014, with rate of inflation of being taken into consideration. However, China is also confronting with unprecedented pressure in environmental pollution, political reform, corruption, inequality and economic restructuring. This is why President Xi Jinping complemented the core of a well-off society as "Innovation, Coordination, Green, Open and Sharing". In that Poseidon China forecasts that the future Chinese economy will no longer focuses on demographic dividend, but more highlights on industry upgrading, energy-saving and environment protection to realize the great transformation through government support and policy favor.

Internet Plus and Industry 4.0

Industry 4.0, a concept brought up by German government during Hanover Industrial Fair in 2013, is the fourth Industrial Revolution based on Cyber-Physical System to realize intelligent manufacturing in all industries. The similar idea was brought up in China in 2012 and quickly became a national economic strategy in Prime Minister Li Keqiang’s Government Work Report in 2015 in the expression of “Internet Plus” Action. Internet + Industry is the core of Industry 4.0. Traditional industries will get new life and motivation by shared information, integrated resources, unlimited innovation by the mass, thus human resources can be truly liberated from physical limitation with full realization of human maximum productivity.

China has been playing a leading role in “Internet+Retailing” “Internet+Finance” “Internet+Business”, with the achievement of establishing the world’s largest online shopping platform, B2B platform and third-payment system. With all the benefits and conveniences of Internet, China is ambitious to upgrade its traditional industries within “Internet Plus” Action to transform the original production and R&D by adopting mobile internet, cloud computing, big data and Internet of things.
